This is a work in progress and I will be posting pictures as I move forward. This is a model that is roughly 4 feet long. The carving designs are Papua New Guinea inspired.The little shelter over the 'iako is made of ulu (Breadfruit), koa, bamboo and pandanas.
The roof is removed easily with just 6 simple lashings.
A great reef or lagoon fishing canoe.
